„"The Future of the Pharmacist" is a series of meetings organized by the Polish Pharmaceutical Students' Society (PTSF), aimed at familiarizing pharmacy students with current trends, challenges, and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. Each PTSF branch tailors the meeting topics to the local needs and interests of its community.
Thematic scope
Meetings within the „Future of the Pharmacist” series cover a wide range of topics, such as:
Career Paths – presentations of the various career paths available to pharmacists, including work in public pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, industrial pharmacies, and international organizations.
Clinical pharmacy – discussing the role of the pharmacist in the treatment of patients, including in the context of oncological pharmacotherapy and parenteral nutrition.
Working as a pharmacist abroad – presentations of the experiences of pharmacists working in various countries, such as Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom, enabling the understanding of the specifics of the profession in an international context.
Changes in the Polish healthcare system – discussions on legislative changes, such as the amendment to the Pharmaceutical Law, and their impact on the profession of pharmacist.
