About PTSF

PTSF is a self-governing and apolitical non-profit organization that brings together pharmacy students and graduates throughout Poland.

PTSF strives to:

  • support for pharmacy students in acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge,
  • promoting the idea of pharmaceutical care, 
  • promoting science among students, 
  • representing the interests of pharmacy students,
  • creating a positive image of the pharmacist profession.

It operates nationwide, with branches (local units) in 13 cities: Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Kielce, Kraków, Lublin, Łódź, Opole, Poznań, Sosnowiec, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wrocław.

Yes - PTSF is a member of the European Pharmacy Students' Association (EPSA) and the International Pharmacy Students' Federation (IPSF).

Membership

Every pharmacy student (regardless of the year of study) and graduate who wants to be socially active and get involved in PTSF initiatives.

Recruitment takes place twice per academic year (at the beginning of the winter semester and in the spring). Members must complete a membership application and submit it to the appropriate person (the Vice President for HR in the relevant Branch), and pay the dues.

Yes, membership requires a membership fee – please contact your Branch VP of HR for more information.

Events, projects and programs

  • National conferences (e.g. National Pharmaceutical Care Conference, PTSF Congress, Catch the Skills, PTSF Christmas Eve)
  • Training and workshops (soft, clinical, scientific skills)
  • Educational projects (e.g. "Consult with a Pharmacist", "Antibiotic Therapy Under the Magnifying Glass")
  • International exchange programs (Student Exchange Programme)
  • Public health initiatives (e.g. educational campaigns)

Yes, members have the opportunity to participate in PTSF-organized events, both local and national. Space restrictions, registration deadlines, participant fees, etc. may apply.

SEP is an international internship program run in partnership with IPSF. Typically lasting 2–4 weeks, it allows pharmacy students to complete internships abroad in pharmacies, research institutions, or clinics.

This initiative allows students to explore diverse career paths for pharmacists—for example, working in regulatory agencies, clinics, laboratories, and academia. It also provides opportunities to speak with alumni and industry representatives.
