On March 28, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Lodz will host the scientific and training conference "The Green Path of Medicine - a Bridge Between Tradition and Modernity".
The conference is organized by the Polish Pharmacy Students' Association in cooperation with Anna Marchelak, Ph.D., and Anna Magiera, Ph.D., from the Department of Pharmacognosy.
The event is addressed to students and employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy and other medical faculties, as well as to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The conference program includes numerous lectures and an expert panel. The presentations will provide participants with up-to-date knowledge on quality and safety standards for herbal preparations, legal regulations, and market trends, as well as practical aspects of phytotherapy, research design for herbal substances, phytoengineering, and natural cosmetics. Practical workshops will also be held for students.
The honorary patrons of the event include: the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Lodz, Prof. Anna Kilanowicz-Sapota, PhD, DSc, M.D.; the President of the District Pharmaceutical Chamber in Lodz, Łukasz Konka, MA; the Polish Herbal Committee; the Polish Society for Pharmaceutical Care; and the Student Scientific Society of the Medical University of Lodz.
The conference will be a unique opportunity to expand competences and exchange knowledge and experiences.
