8th edition of "Practical Workshops for Secondary School Students"„

Event start: February 16, 2026 12:00
Place: February 16, 2026 12:00

From February 16–18, 2026, the walls of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Ludwik Rydygier Medical College in Bydgoszcz were filled with the energy of young science enthusiasts. This was all thanks to the 8th edition of the "Practical Workshops for Secondary School Students," which have become a permanent fixture in our university's calendar of major educational events.

As the local chapter of the Polish Pharmaceutical Students' Association (PTSF Bydgoszcz), we were delighted to participate in this initiative. We were present in the laboratories to support participants in their research, discuss the realities of studying at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and demonstrate that chemistry and formulation are not just dry theory but, above all, fascinating practice.

High school students from across the region had a unique opportunity to experience real-life students. Under the guidance of faculty and with our support, the students independently prepared preparations, conducted chemical analyses, and learned about modern diagnostic equipment. Our presence helped bridge the gap between the school and academic worlds – we were happy to answer questions about recruitment, class organization, and the numerous initiatives we undertake daily as PTSF.

We would like to thank the Faculty of Pharmacy for inviting us to co-create this event, and all participants for their tremendous commitment and curiosity. We hope to see many of you soon at lectures and in joint activities within the PTSF!

Our motto is:

""Today we are creating the pharmacy of tomorrow""
